Our eTwinning April Work

We did 5 different works in our eTwinning project in April.


The first activity we did in April was our collaborative work for "April 2, World Autism Awareness Day". In order to attract attention and raise awareness, we created a video of the articles where we wear blue dresses and write blue slogans. Thus, we realized the first collaborative work of this month.




 Our topic in April was the Covid-19 outbreak that affected the whole world. We studied with our students what the rules we should pay attention to (such as use of masks, hand hygiene and social distance protection ...) and how to apply them in order to raise awareness during the pandemic period. While doing these studies, I used direct expression, verbal hint, sampling and modeling methods.

For the 2nd joint work of this month, we used the Zumpad application to create our slogans about Covid-19 measures with our partners. 
My student painted our slogan for our collaborative video as she wanted.Thus, we created a joint public service advertisement.







Another collaboration on Covid-19 with our partners via the Canva app"Covid-19 Prevention Guide from Special Education Students" It was to prepare a brochure with the title. Each group that was formed edited its own page and gave the message "Health Is In Precaution". By writing an awareness slogan on our "Correct Use of the Mask" page, I enabled my student to color the slogan freely. As a result of our work with our project partners, a useful and special brochure has been released.











The last event of our project in April was "April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day".We exchanged ideas with our project partners at the Forum, which was created to determine the April 23 event. In line with the result of the forum, we decided to make a "Children's Flag" symbolizing all children. A white fabric was circulated between schools, creating a Children's Flag made up of colored handprints of children. Flags of all partner countries, prepared and painted by the students, were also added to the fabric. At the end of the event, a nice "April 23rd Children's Flag" occurred.

MAY THEME: I Realize Spring with '5 Senses Organs' In may we prepared coloring e-book, joint spring song, joint e-twinning day poster and botanical garden works.  I taught my students about our 5 sense organs. I organized activities to make what I learned permanent. We prepared materials for 5 sense organs and made them talk. I tried to reinforce what I learned with the question and answer method. We went out to the school garden and did a study of perceiving the environment with our 5 senses.  Our students made maracas for the spring song, which is a joint product of May.  They drew a picture of flowers for the e-book, another joint product of May. All the children created their own botanical garden by painting each other's flowers. We participated in the poster work prepared for the eTwinning day in May.
